The competition
Formerly known as the Concours des Grands Vins du Languedoc-Roussillon, the Vinalies Occitanie® celebrates the richness, diversity and expertise of Occitan vineyards. Deeply rooted in its territory, the competition recognises wines and those who produce them, in a spirit of community and professional recognition.
The tastings are conducted blind by juries of professionals who are experts in appellations, grape varieties and local wine identities. Each wine is evaluated with rigour, respecting its origin and expression.
New for 2026 : the Grand Gold Elixir medal, a higher level of recognition !
The Vinalies Occitanie will now award Grand Gold medals, the highest level being awarded during a second tasting of the Gold medal-winning wines. This new Grand Gold medal, which is highly valuable, replaces the Coups de Coeur system and is accompanied by a partnership with Elixir magazine, whose logo appears on the medal, enhancing its visibility and reach.
A true competition rooted in Occitanie, this competition embodies the pride of a great wine-growing region, committed to promoting its terroirs and the reputation of its producers.
